Impersonating an officer of the Ninh Giang District Military Command to order an iron bed

The subjects used the phone numbers: 0968.993.564, 0245.556.0014, 0394.458.888 and the social network Zalo to call electronics stores, manufacturing, trading, and installing iron beds in Dong Tam, Van Phuc, Tan Huong communes and Ninh Giang town to place orders. They often said they were ordering large quantities, from 100-300 iron beds (worth about 1 million VND/bed) and water purifiers for soldiers to use.

The Ninh Giang District Military Command has verified and said that there is no one in the unit with the name as the subjects claimed and there is no need to order iron beds or water filters.

Because the owners of the establishments were very vigilant and called the Ninh Giang District Military Command before accepting orders, there have been no cases of fraud.

According to the investigation, the subjects impersonated military units to gain the trust of the facility owners, not to make strict requirements for deposit to buy goods. If someone accepted to make goods, the subjects would suggest that they buy accessories from a facility they introduced with the reason of easy payment. Then, they would pretend to be the supplier of accessories to urge the facilities to transfer the deposit to buy accessories to appropriate.

Owners of production and business establishments need to be vigilant to avoid being scammed.
