People donate land to expand Cam Dong commune road phase II

By July 28, nearly 600 households in Mot, Trang, Chua, Trung, Tinh Cach and An Lai villages, Cam Dong commune (Cam Giang) had voluntarily dismantled structures and trees, and donated more than 6,000 square meters of land to expand the commune's main road and district road 195B.

Previously, since the end of the first quarter of 2022, Cam Dong commune has promoted and mobilized people to voluntarily clear construction works and donate land to expand the road. Phase II of the commune's axis road is over 1.3 km long, expected to be expanded to 10.5 m, including 7.5 m of asphalt and 3 m of sidewalks on both sides, with a total estimated budget of 15 billion VND. District road 195B is 1,804 m long, will be renovated and expanded in phase 1 to 10.5 m wide, including 7.5 m of asphalt. The project to upgrade road 195B has a starting point at km6+134 adjacent to the new irrigation culvert in Vinh Lai village and an end point at km7+938 intersecting with provincial road 394 at km8+475, passing through Trung, Tinh Cach and An Lai villages. With capital from the commune and district budgets, the above two projects are expected to start construction in the third and fourth quarters of 2022.

The above roads were built a long time ago, the road surface is narrow, has seriously degraded, and needs to be expanded to meet the requirements of building a new model rural area of ​​Cam Dong commune this year. The commune axis road phase I sponsored by Dai An Joint Stock Company is 500 m long, the road surface is 7.5-9 m wide, with a total investment of about 7 billion VND, completed in 2021.
