Nearly 4,000 Hai Duong students are educated about cultural heritage in school.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2024, nearly 4,000 students in 16 primary schools in the province will experience cultural heritage education programs in schools.

In 2024, Viet Hoa Primary School (Hai Duong City) was chosen as the site for implementing the cultural heritage education program in the school. The program was implemented from October with the active participation of students in grades 3, 4, and 5 in the school.

Students are taught to integrate knowledge about local cultural heritage into their subjects; visit and experience two typical cultural heritages of the province: Mao Dien Temple of Literature (Cam Giang) and Dong Nien communal house (Hai Duong city); listen to introductions about the relics, history, background, career of the worshiped figures, the meaning of the construction items, worship objects, etc. In the photo: A presentation contest of students of Viet Hoa Primary School

The cultural heritage education program in schools has been organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism since 2013. The program helps students supplement their knowledge about cultural relics in the province, arouse love for their homeland, country, and cultural heritage, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values ​​of the locality and the nation.
