A VinFast representative said that nearly 2,500 of the company's electric cars left Mipec - MPC Port (Hai Phong) for Jakarta (Indonesia) on the Silver Queen dedicated ship. This is the 4th ship and the ship carrying the largest number of cars to Indonesia just 1 year after VinFast officially entered this market.

The shipment includes 4 car models: VF 3, VF 5, VF e34 and Nerio Green, produced for the Indonesian market with the characteristic of left-hand drive, equipped with the steering wheel on the right.

According to plan, the Silver Queen ship will dock at Jakarta port (Indonesia) on March 11-12, depending on weather conditions.

Indonesia is a key market in VinFast's expansion plan in Southeast Asia. Just one year after joining, VinFast broke ground on its factory, delivered two models VF e34 and VF 5, and expanded its sales and service network.

Together with its partners Green SM and V-Green, two companies owned by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, VinFast is gradually building an electric vehicle ecosystem here.

Previously, on February 13, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, VinFast officially launched the VF 3 electric car model.

At the same time, the company announced a free charging program at the station system operated by V-Green in Indonesia, lasting until December 31, 2027 for VF 5, VF e34 and until March 1, 2028 for VF 3.
