Vietnam's Thong Nhat Railway is the most worth experiencing in the world

According to Lonely Planet, Vietnam's Reunification Railway is one of the eight most wonderful railways in the world. The route meets all the criteria of a great train route, passing through historic cities and along the poetic coastal route.

The remaining railway routes voted by Lonely Planet include the US, Peru, China, the UK, Norway, New Zealand, Tanzania and Zambia.

Topping Lonely Planet's list is Vietnam's North-South railway (also known as the Reunification Railway) with a length of about 1,730km.

Vietnam's Thong Nhat railway line is about 1,730km long.

Lonely Planet also rated the two-day journey on the Reunification Railway, which is about 1,730km long, as one of the most popular rail journeys in Southeast Asia and the best night train in the world.

To travel thousands of kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City to the capital Hanoi, the train is the perfect means of transport, giving passengers plenty of time to sightsee and explore beautiful places.

During the 2-day journey, visitors will witness the bustling urban areas passing before their eyes, to the peaceful countryside. Along with that, the majestic natural landscape from North to South brings an unforgettable experience.

Previously in 2018, Lonely Planet also voted Thong Nhat route in the list of "10 most beautiful railway routes in the world".

Next, in 2019, Russia's Sputnik news agency also voted for the "10 most beautiful railway lines in the world", and the Thong Nhat railway line was also on this list.
