As of March 6, the construction unit of the Dong Viet bridge approach road connecting to National Highway 37 (Chi Linh) has completed over 85% of the work volume.
According to the project implementation unit, the roadbed construction alone has reached about 90% of the volume, and the road surface paving has reached 85% of the volume.
The construction unit is continuing to construct the roadbed, treat weak soil, construct drainage culverts, branch roads, and service roads.
In the completed sections, road markings, traffic lights, and signage are being installed.
The Dong Viet Bridge approach road connecting National Highway 37 is 5.3 km long, passing through the wards and communes of Hung Dao, Le Loi, and Cong Hoa (Chi Linh); the scale of the road is class II, the roadbed is 22.5 m; the design speed is 80 km/h; the total investment capital is over 469.8 billion VND.
The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024. Once completed, the project will be synchronized with the Dong Viet bridge construction project invested by Bac Giang province.
