Hai Duong has completed 65% of the Dong Viet bridge approach road volume.

According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Dong Viet Bridge approach road construction project connecting to National Highway 37 (Chi Linh) has basically completed the roadbed construction, and the crushed stone road foundation construction has reached about 4 km/5.3 km.

Currently, the construction of the crushed stone road foundation and the construction of the asphalt concrete pavement and lighting items are continuing. To date, the construction volume has reached about 65%. The capital disbursement rate has reached 76% according to the capital plan at the beginning of the year and reached 56% according to the additional capital plan of 50 billion VND from October 2023.

The Dong Viet Bridge approach road project connecting to National Highway 37 has a route length of 5.3 km, passing through the communes of Hung Dao, Le Loi and Cong Hoa ward (Chi Linh); the scale of the road is class II, the roadbed is 22.5 m; the design speed is 80 km/h. The total investment is 469,820 billion VND.

Construction started in May 2023 and is expected to be completed in April 2024, two months ahead of schedule and in sync with the Dong Viet Bridge construction project invested by Bac Giang province.
