Recently, the image of a coffee shop located in the middle of terraced fields, surrounded by wooden huts drying corn and rice, covered in white clouds every early morning in Sa Pa (Lao Cai) has attracted attention on social networks.
In late August, the lush green rice fields surrounding the restaurant began to turn golden yellow, creating a beautiful check-in backdrop. It is expected that September 2nd will be the time when the rice fields will be golden.
According to research, this coffee shop is located in Pho village, Muong Hoa commune, about 8km from the center of Sa Pa town. The owner rented a field and a house from the local H'Mong people, and built a few small huts made of bamboo, wood, and rattan to serve tourists who come to sightsee and take photos.
"I don't use reinforced concrete, I only use environmentally friendly bamboo and wood materials that are suitable for the surrounding ecosystem. Customers come here because they love the typical beauty of Sa Pa such as stilt houses, wooden huts, rice fields...", said Mr. Duong Quoc Hieu, the owner of the restaurant.
The shop is located on a rice field of about 2,000 square meters. Mr. Hieu built a wooden path around the rice field, replacing the original dirt road, so that visitors can walk or sit and drink coffee more easily. The air here is fresh, cool and quiet.
The owner said the restaurant is open from 7am until the restaurant is sold out. On weekends, the restaurant is quite crowded and can welcome hundreds of visitors.
The shop serves familiar drinks such as smoothies and fruit juices with prices ranging from 40,000 to 60,000 VND. Visitors can get here by car, which is quite convenient.
Visitors can also experience the H'Mong ethnic costume rental service for 50,000 VND/time. In case you want to have lunch with the locals, you need to make a reservation in advance.
Around this cafe are some famous tourist attractions such as ancient stone beach, Muong Hoa stream, Ta Van rattan bridge,...
In Sa Pa, visitors can see ripe rice at Y Linh Ho, Muong Hoa valley, Cat Cat village, Ta Van, Lao Chai,...
According to research, about 10 days before the September 2 holiday, many high-end resorts and large hotels in the center of Sa Pa had reached a room occupancy rate of more than 90%. Many homestays located far from the center but with a space close to nature, overlooking the terraced fields in the ripe rice season were also sought out and booked early by guests.
On this occasion, the town organizes a series of attractive events "Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024" to welcome tourists such as Muong Hoa fairytale art circus, Mong village cultural festival, Ban May golden season festival,...
