The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has decided to close a part of the mining area for hilly soil as common construction materials at Lim mountain mine, Phu Thu ward (Kinh Mon) with an area of 6,662 m2.
Phu Tan Company Limited was permitted by the Provincial People's Committee to exploit hill soil for common construction materials at Lim Mountain in Phu Thu Ward since 2006. The exploitation area is more than 2.1 hectares, with a reserve of about 495,000 m3, the license term is 5 years. The company has made a project to close part of the Lim hill mine area according to the mineral mine closure project approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the People's Committee of Phu Thu Ward, the area where the Lim Mountain mine was closed is within the local green space planning area. Currently, part of the area in this mine area has been planted with trees by the enterprise.
