Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has decided to close Ang Dau limestone mine and hand it over to local authorities for management.

On October 20, the Provincial People's Committee decided to close the Ang Dau limestone mine in Minh Tan Ward (Kinh Mon). This mine was granted mineral exploitation license No. 2944/GP-UBND dated September 29, 2017 by the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee to Hai Duong Mineral Exploitation and Processing Joint Stock Company to exploit limestone for common construction materials. The area of ​​the mine closure is more than 4 hectares.

The closure of this mineral mine aims to liquidate resources in the area where the reserves have been fully exploited; manage and protect unexploited minerals; improve and restore the environment in the exploited area according to regulations. At the same time, the area of ​​the closed mineral mine is handed over to the local government for management.
