Unique antithetical singing performance on the Vietnam - China border river

Attending the event were hundreds of actors, singers, young people from both sides, along with many people, tourists, and students from Vietnam and China.

The unique point is that the main stage is a large boat anchored in the middle of the Bac Luan River. The boat is decorated with flags and flowers, and has enough electricity, sound and light to meet standards. Singers and actors stand on each side of the boat and together sing songs that express the friendship between Vietnam and China.

The two sides brought to the program of exchanging and singing special songs expressing love for the homeland and country, praising the Party, leaders, and close friendship. The dances were elaborately prepared, showing the unique cultural identities of both sides. The love songs, Quan Ho singing, and performances of traditional musical instruments were performed excellently by the singers and artists, bringing the audience many emotions. Along with that were youthful and vibrant dances expressing the spirit and fresh vitality of the youth of Vietnam and China.

Songs praising the close friendship between the people of Vietnam and China were performed by Vietnamese and Chinese singers, along with lively dance performances from both sides. Each performance was warmly received by the people of both countries. At the end of the exchange program, young people and people from both sides of the border sang the Vietnam - China song together; held hands to show their strong friendship, and gave each other souvenirs.

Hoang Phi Phuc Thuy (Hai Hoa ward) shared that she was very honored and proud to be one of the people participating in the program, representing Mong Cai city to exchange singing on the river with Chinese friends. After the Covid-19 period, the youth of the two countries have not had many exchange and cooperation activities, Hoang Phi Phuc Thuy hopes that in the coming time, there will be more exchange and cooperation activities between the two sides.

The exchange of singing on the Bac Luan border river is an activity with many special meanings. Over the past 15 years of organization, this activity has always received the attention, direction and facilitation of the leaders of the two localities and the enthusiastic support of the people of Vietnam and China; demonstrating the comprehensive and sustainable cooperative relationship between the two localities and the two countries.

The singing program on the river sent to the audience and people of the two countries songs praising the love for the homeland and country, praising the beautiful life on the path of integration and development. This is also a practical activity demonstrating the tradition of steadfast, loyal and friendly ties between the two countries.
