At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, visited and worked in Laos from August 8-10.
General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith received comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, on a courtesy visit.
During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call to Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone; and held talks with Comrade Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction.
At the meetings, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai sincerely thanked the senior leaders of the Lao Party and State for receiving and giving the delegation warm feelings, respectfully conveyed the warm regards of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State to the General Secretary, President of Laos and Prime Minister of Laos.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai congratulated Laos on the great, comprehensive and historic achievements after more than 36 years of renovation and the important results after nearly 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress; believing that, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Government's management, and the National Assembly's supervision, the Lao people will continue to gain many new and greater achievements, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress. She emphasized that Laos' achievements are very important and are the foundation for Laos to overcome difficulties and continue to develop, while affirming that Vietnam always strongly supports the renovation, protection, construction and development of Laos.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her joy at the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos that has been constantly developing in all fields, making an important contribution to maintaining stability and development of each country; thanked Laos for its great support and assistance to Vietnam in the past struggle for national liberation and unification as well as in the current cause of national construction and defense. She affirmed that Vietnam will do its utmost together with Laos to preserve and foster the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos to develop more deeply, practically and effectively, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai highly appreciated the cooperation results between the two Parties and the two countries in the past time, shared some cooperation contents in the coming time as well as the results of the talks with the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction. She affirmed that the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Vietnam is ready to closely coordinate with the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction to effectively implement the agreements between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties, the two countries and between the two agencies, contributing to the successful implementation of the Congress Resolution of each Party.
Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone highly appreciated the significance and importance of the visit, which deeply demonstrated the special Vietnam-Laos relationship; respectfully conveyed their regards to senior Vietnamese leaders; congratulated the great and comprehensive achievements that Vietnam has made in recent times, especially in socio-economic development and Party building; and believed that Vietnam will continue to gain many new and greater achievements, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
The Lao leaders expressed their delight at the extensive development of the Vietnam-Laos relationship, emphasizing the significance and importance of the Vietnam-Laos relationship as well as the relationship between the three countries of Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia. The Lao leaders considered this a valuable asset, a great source of strength for the development of each country, and affirmed that they would do their utmost together with Vietnam to preserve, cultivate, promote and pass it on to future generations, and suggested that the two sides closely coordinate to effectively implement the Agreement between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, and improve the effectiveness of cooperation in all fields. The Lao senior leaders emphasized the important role and tasks of mass mobilization work for the cause of construction and development of each country, highly appreciated the cooperation results between the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction, and expressed their hope that the two agencies would continue to strengthen information exchange and share experiences in mass mobilization work, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam and Laos.
* Previously, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai had a meeting with Comrade Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction. The two sides informed each other about the situation of each Party and each country, about the cooperative relationship between the two sides and between the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction in the past time, agreed on the direction of cooperation between the two agencies in the coming time; and in-depth exchange of experiences on the Party's mass mobilization work.
During the visit, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai had a meeting with the staff of the Embassy, representative agencies and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Laos. At the meeting, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai informed about the situation of the country, the policies of the Party and State towards the Vietnamese community abroad. She highly appreciated and praised the achievements of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in Laos in the past time and acknowledged the recommendations of the people.
The delegation also laid a wreath at the Monument of President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong; visited Star Telecom Company (Unitel) and visited and worked in Luang Prabang province, Northern Laos.
