Adjusting and adding many expressways to the Road Network Planning

The Government added 2 routes, adjusted 11 routes, expressway sections and 3 national highways in the Road Network Planning for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Đường cao tốc Hà Nội - Hải Phòng là cao tốc loại A, được áp dụng một số tiêu chuẩn quốc tế, khởi đầu từ nút giao vành đai III Hà Nội đi qua các tỉnh Hưng Yên, Hải Dương và kết thúc tại cảng Đình Vũ (Hải Phòng). Trong đó đoạn qua Hải Dương dài 40 km đi qua huyện Bình Giang, Gia Lộc, Tứ Kỳ, Thanh Hà; có 2 nút giao đã đi vào hoạt động tại huyện Gia Lộc (lối xuống quốc lộ 38 B) và nối với đường tỉnh 392 tại huyện Bình Giang. Trong tương lai sẽ có 1 nút giao nữa từ cao tốc xuống huyện Thanh Hà

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decision No. 12/QD-TTg dated January 3, 2025 approving the adjustment of the Road Network Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Decision 12/QD-TTg clearly states, adjusts and supplements a number of contents related to the expressway system.

In particular, the scale of 4 routes/sections of the North-South expressway in the East (CT.01) section Phap Van - Phu Thu (Ha Nam), section Ben Luc (Long An) - Trung Luong (Tien Giang), section Can Tho - Ca Mau and Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Ha Long expressway will be adjusted.

Add new planning for 2 expressways Ca Mau - Dat Mui and Quang Ngai - Kon Tum.

Adjust the scope of 4 routes/sections of Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, Cam Lo - Lao Bao expressway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway and Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway.

Adjusting the investment progress of 7 routes/sections of the North-South expressway in the west: Ngoc Hoi - Gia Nghia section, Son La - Dien Bien expressway, Bac Kan - Cao Bang expressway, Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku - Le Thanh expressway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku section, Go Dau - Xa Mat expressway, Hong Ngu - Tra Vinh expressway, Dinh Ba - Cao Lanh border gate section and An Huu - Tra Vinh section.

In addition, Decision 12/QD-TTg also adjusts the scope of three national highways 13C, 57B and 57C.

Specifically, National Highway 13C has an estimated length of 71 km, planned as a level III road, 2-4 lanes, starting at DT.741, Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc, ending at Ring Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong.

National Highway 57B has an estimated length of 87 km, planned as a level III-IV road, 2-4 lanes, starting point at National Highway 57, Cho Lach, Ben Tre, ending point at Binh Dai, Ben Tre.

National Highway 57C has an estimated length of 64 km, planned as a level III-IV road, 2-4 lanes, starting point at National Highway 57B, Chau Thanh, Ben Tre, ending point at Ba Tri, Ben Tre.

In addition, Decision 12/QD-TTg also corrects some contents in Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg in Appendix III attached to this decision.

In addition to the above-mentioned adjustments and supplements, other contents remain the same as Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg dated September 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the road network planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
