Proposing 7 policies to support Hai Duong tourism development

On the afternoon of December 2, the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council worked with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the draft resolution regulating a number of policies to support tourism development in Hai Duong province in the period of 2025-2030; outstanding results of the industry in 2024 and directions for 2025 to prepare the content to submit to the 28th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.

The draft resolution stipulates a number of policies to support tourism development in Hai Duong province in the 2025-2030 period, with 7 support policies, with a total estimated budget of 54.6 billion VND.

These are policies to support investment in construction or upgrading and renovation of housing with rooms for tourists to rent (homestay) in tourist areas and spots; investment in construction of reception houses, display houses, purchase of tourism products, agricultural and rural products; construction of public toilets in tourist areas and spots; construction of internal roads; construction of parking lots; purchase of means of transport for tourists in tourist areas and spots; support for the establishment and maintenance of art troupes, mass art clubs, water puppetry troupes, and clay artillery teams.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council agreed with the report and proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and at the same time accepted the opinions of the delegates and summarized the report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

He also requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to absorb comments and suggestions, especially policies to support the establishment and maintenance of art troupes, mass art clubs, water puppetry troupes, and clay artillery teams to edit and complete the report, submission and draft resolution stipulating a number of policies to support tourism development in Hai Duong province in the period 2025-2030...
