At the 9th session of the Gia Loc District People's Council (Hai Duong), term XX, held on the afternoon of April 3, the People's Council delegates unanimously approved the Resolution to renovate, upgrade and expand the district's Martyrs Monument with a budget of nearly 29 billion VND.

The district's martyrs' monument is currently 3,470 m wide.2, will be expanded to 5,377 m2including the following items: leveling the extension; demolishing some degraded materials and replacing them with new materials. Building and expanding the pedestal base, creating steps. Completing the garden system, trees, water supply and drainage system, and lighting system. The project has a total cost of nearly 29 billion VND, from the district's public investment capital for the period 2021-2025 and other legal sources of capital, with an implementation period of 2024-2025.

Due to being built a long time ago, the Gia Loc District Martyrs Monument currently has some degraded and cramped items. The renovation will create an airy space, ensure aesthetic value and show the gratitude of the Gia Loc District Party Committee and people to the martyrs.
