Steering Committee 35 at all levels of Hai Duong province has prosecuted and criminally prosecuted 4 subjects, and established records to administratively sanction 115 cases of posting false information on cyberspace with a total fine of 800 million VND.

According to the Steering Committee on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the province (Steering Committee 35 of the province), in the 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation", Steering Committee 35 at all levels in the province has researched, edited, collected and published more than 58,000 articles refuting erroneous and hostile views, fake news, untrue and toxic news on the internet and social networks.

During the same period, through reviewing false information and information violations on cyberspace, the province prosecuted and criminally handled 4 subjects; established records to administratively sanction 115 cases of posting false information on cyberspace with a total fine of 800 million VND. In the province, there were also 485 cases of warnings for posting unverified information, information that was not allowed to be posted...
