Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union Congress is expected to be held in early October.

The Executive Committee Conference of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation discussed documents to prepare for the 19th Provincial Trade Union Congress.

To prepare for the 19th Congress of Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term, the Provincial Labor Federation has approved a plan to hold the Congress in early October at the Eastern Cultural Center.

The Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has guided the collection of opinions on the draft Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, established 4 sub-committees to serve the Congress. Drafted a political report to be submitted to the Congress. The general goal of the new term is to innovate the method of operation, improve the effectiveness of the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities, and build a strong and comprehensive trade union organization. Implement well 3 breakthroughs including: Focusing resources on performing the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers at the grassroots level, focusing on dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements, especially on wages and working conditions; building a team of trade union officials, especially chairmen of non-state enterprise trade unions with intelligence, courage, enthusiasm, responsibility, and prestige; innovating the method of trade union operation, focusing on digital transformation.

The 19th Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union Congress is expected to convene 350 official delegates and 170 invited delegates.

To date, all 20 grassroots trade unions in Hai Duong have completed their Congresses for the 2023-2028 term, including 12 district-level trade unions and 8 industry trade unions and industrial park trade unions.
