Sa 1 culvert in Noi Hop village field, Le Ninh commune (Kinh Mon) is severely damaged, the culvert gate is always closed but water still flows strongly from Noi Hop field to Kinh Thay river.
Sa 1 culvert was built a long time ago, with the function of retaining water for Noi Hop field in the dry season, preventing water from Kinh Thay river in the rainy season. In 2023, Kinh Mon town dike management department proposed that the province invest in repairing the culvert such as replacing the opening and closing machine, culvert wings, re-pouring the culvert valve system... The items have been constructed according to the design. However, the culvert is still flowing strongly due to chipped edges and culvert body.
If not repaired promptly, during the rainy season, the fields of Noi Hop village are at risk of being flooded.
