The investigation agency determined that Phong was the organizer, directing Hang - Deputy General Director and managers, shift leaders, receptionists... of the Club to find and entice Vietnamese people to participate in gambling for money. Through the books, the police assessed that the amount of money won and lost here was especially large, up to 725,000 USD per day, equivalent to 18 billion VND. The case is being expanded.
This move by the Criminal Police Department took place in the context of Ho Chi Minh City Police launching a peak campaign to crack down on all types of crimes during Tet 2025.
