From the beginning of the year to August 22, the Traffic Police and Order Team of Thanh Mien District Police (Hai Duong) fined 95 cases of traffic safety violations with a total fine of 306 million VND, an increase of 30 cases compared to the same period last year.
From the beginning of the year to August 22, Thanh Mien District Traffic Police discovered and handled over 1,000 cases of traffic law violations, with a fine of VND3.8 billion, an increase of more than 550 cases and VND1.9 billion compared to the same period last year. Notably, 95 cases were fined with a total of VND306 million, an increase of 30 cases and VND131 million. Of which, people provided information, images, and clips of 12 cases of road traffic violations.
The cases of cold fines are mainly for violations such as not wearing helmets, speeding, not obeying traffic lights, stopping and parking in violation of regulations... Thanh Mien is a typical locality in the province in handling traffic law violations through cold fines.
Currently, all national and provincial highways passing through Thanh Mien district have been installed with security cameras. This is an effective tool for Thanh Mien district police to ensure security, order, traffic safety and handle violations.
