From May 6, Nam Sach Town Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Team and Nam Sach District Police to impose fines on vehicles entering Thanh Lam Street, Nam Sach Town during two time frames: 6-7am and 4-5pm.
In order to avoid traffic congestion on Thanh Lam Street, passing through Nam Sach Town Primary School and Kindergarten during school hours, Nam Sach Town Police advised the Party Committee and the Town People's Committee to install two security cameras to detect cars entering during the hours when there are prohibited signs on this road. Nam Sach Town Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Team and Nam Sach District Police to monitor and impose fines on violators.
Previously, on April 25, Hai Duong Electronic Newspaper reported that cars were driving during the prohibited hours in Nam Sach town. Thanh Lam Street from the intersection of Mac Dinh Chi Street to the intersection with Nguyen Trai Street, where many schools are concentrated, had signs prohibiting cars during 6-7am and 4-5pm to avoid traffic jams. However, many parents drove cars into this road during the prohibited hours to pick up and drop off their children, causing traffic jams.
Immediately after the report in Hai Duong newspaper, on April 25-26, the Traffic Police and Order Team of Nam Sach District Police and Nam Sach Town Police increased inspection, detected and handled 8 cases of entering this road during prohibited hours, imposing a total fine of 20 million VND.
