Just a few hours after going on sale, all tickets for Westlife's show in Ho Chi Minh City were quickly sold out.
Tickets for Westlife's concert in Vietnam will be on sale from 9am on September 26. There are 6 ticket categories on sale including: 850,000 VND, 1.2 million VND, 1.7 million VND, 2.1 million VND, 3.1 million VND and 4 million VND.
Even before the sale opened, the ticket sales site Ticketbox recorded a power outage due to the large number of people "lining up".
Less than 5 hours after the ticket sales gate opened, the program organizer confirmed that all 15,000 tickets were sold out.
All tickets were sold out within hours.
The situation of "sold out" tickets for Westlife concerts is receiving attention from the Vietnamese audience community. Similar to the situation at BlackPink's concert in July, posts about "transferring tickets" at high prices have begun to appear in fan groups.
Faced with this situation, the concert organizers also posted a notice to warn fans."Currently, on social networks there is a lot of information about buying and selling tickets at different prices, and there are also many fake websites.
Ticket sales transactions outside the main system may face many risks, including counterfeit tickets, used tickets or disputes over the value and validity of tickets. The organizers and Ticketbox will not be responsible for transactions outside the main system",The organizers recommend.
A series of ticket hunting groups were opened after the tickets were sold out.
Previously, the organizers announced that they would issue 15,000 tickets to the Westlife concert. Each account can buy up to 6 tickets/time at all levels, and transactions can be made within 10 minutes. In addition, the seating chart of the show was announced to be divided into 8 areas, 100% of which are seats.
This unit said:"For this special show of Westlife, the organizers divided it into 8 areas with 6 electronic ticket categories, 100% of which are seats, so the audience can rest assured to give it their all with the 4 gentlemen from Ireland."
This is not the first time Westlife has come to Vietnam. The group first performed in Hanoi as part of their tour in 2011. After that, lead singer Shane Filan came to Vietnam twice in 2014 and 2017, both times in Ho Chi Minh City.

In October 2018, Westlife reunited with 4 members after 6 years of disbandment, only member Brian did not participate. Unlike many other bands of the same era, over the past decades, Westlife has maintained its popularity and toured non-stop.
