On September 26, tickets for Westlife's concert in Vietnam were officially opened for sale on the online platform Ticketbox. After the event tickets were sold out on the online platform, a number of users turned to unofficial ticket sales sources with a high possibility of falling into the trap of scammers.

Along with that, Ticketbox also issued a warning about online fraud when a number of fake websites appeared posting inaccurate ticket sales information, potentially affecting the rights of users. The subjects changed the domain name compared to the official website address and created a fraudulent website with an almost identical web design to deceive buyers. Currently, this fake website has been processed by the Information Security Department and is inaccessible.

Faced with the above situation, the Information Security Department recommends that users need to be vigilant and extremely careful when making any transactions on social networks to avoid falling into online fraud traps.

Do not buy tickets on websites, fanpages, groups or individuals because of unknown origin and cannot be authenticated. Therefore, only buy on the official website of the event.

Pay attention to the signs of fake websites through the website name and domain name. Usually the name of the fake website will be similar to the name of the real website but will have some characters added or missing. Fake domain names often use strange extensions such as .cc, .xyz, .tk, .tv...

At the bottom of the standard website pages, there is usually a section "Registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade" and "Notified with the Ministry of Industry and Trade".

Be careful when buying black market tickets, avoid buying high priced tickets or being tricked into buying fake tickets.

Always stay calm, clear-headed, and wait for official information from the organizers instead of being hasty, leading to "losing both money and health".
