Two Westlife concerts in Vietnam on November 21 and 22 suddenly launched standing tickets for 600,000 VND
On the morning of November 17, the official fanpage of AMO, the organizer in Vietnam of the Westlife music night -The wild dreams tour 2023November 21 and 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, suddenly announced the opening of standing ticket sales - CAT 7.
The organizers explained: "With the desire to bring a vibrant, enthusiastic show, opening up opportunities for thousands of Westlife fans to witness the sublime moments with their idols at Thong Nhat Stadium, the organizers officially opened the sale of CAT 7 - Standing tickets, the only standing ticket class available only at the Westlife concert at Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City on November 21 and 22.
CAT 7 - Standing position is located on the field, right behind CAT 2 position with the price of 600,000 VND/ticket. With this position, the audience will be immersed in the bustling atmosphere, enjoying the top performance with the four guys from Ireland".
CAT 7 area - standing tickets priced at 600,000 VND have just been added by the organizers.
There were more than 500 reactions to the post, of which more than 300 were outraged. Viewers left more than 600 comments, most of them negative.
Audience member Tran Hoang Son said: "In September, I waited for tickets to be sold out, but now CAT 7 tickets are available for 600,000 VND, and I can still stand in the middle area and be in the middle of CAT 2-3-4. I spent 1.2 million VND to watch for 2 nights, and 4 million VND to watch for 1 night."
Audience member Duong Phan wrote: "The show is only a few days away, but I'm not as excited as I was when I bought the ticket. Because now, isn't it like spending time and money to go to another place and watch a fair?
Why do we have to spend 3x or 4x more money to buy VIP tickets when the benefits we receive are only better than a 600,000 VND ticket for a seat? Too bad. Too frustrating."
Audience member Anh Khoa wrote: "The organizers should review the organization this time.
Audiences who bought tickets in advance have to watch the second night, and now there's an additional 600,000 VND ticket right next to the 3.1 million VND ticket? So renting your seats is worth 2.5 million VND?"
Previously, the organizers of The Wild Dreams Tour opened ticket sales for the night of November 22, then opened them again for the night of November 21 - one day before the main night. Those who bought tickets for the later night got to see Westlife first.
Tickets for the two Westlife concerts are priced from VND850,000 to VND4 million. At VND600,000, the newly launched standing tickets are the cheapest of the two concerts.
