From July 1, the whole country officially uses a single account, VNeID, to perform online public services. In Hai Duong, the first day of implementation showed that there were still problems such as system errors, unstable operation, no connection, no communication...
According to the investigation of Hai Duong Newspaper reporters in Kim Thanh district, Ninh Giang, Chi Linh city, Provincial Public Administration Service Center..., after 1 day of official use, receiving and processing administrative procedure records for people still encountered many problems.
The system is faulty, unstable, not connected or interconnected. Citizens' personal accounts on the National Public Service Portal have not been activated. Personal phone numbers are incorrect, unable to log in. Citizens returning from abroad do not have ID cards, do not have an identity account... The above situation makes it difficult for citizens and civil servants to submit online applications and process paperwork. In many cases, it cannot be done.
To solve the above difficulties, the "one-stop" department at district and commune levels, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center guides people to switch to directly handling procedural documents (for urgent procedures such as death certificates, permanent residence registration cancellation, funeral expenses settlement, etc.)
Previously, to prepare for the conversion and use of VNeID accounts according to the roadmap from July 1 assigned by the Government, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province directed agencies, units and localities to implement the solution of converting to using VNeID as the only account in performing administrative procedures in the electronic environment.
According to the provisions of Decree No. 59/2022/ND-CP dated September 5, 2022 of the Government on electronic identification and authentication, from July 1, 2024, electronic identification accounts on the National Public Service Portal will use electronic identification accounts provided by the Ministry of Public Security (VNelD) to register, log in to perform online public services and other utilities on the National Public Service Portal.
Citizens with National Public Service Portal and VNelD accounts follow the 2 steps below to link their accounts:
Step 1: Check if the National Public Service Portal account has been updated with the population database. If not, update the citizen identification number according to the instructions after logging in. If the citizen identification number has been updated, move to step 2.
Step 2: Log in to the electronic identification account issued by the Ministry of Public Security (VNelD) for the system to link the account.
