I admire her because a preschool teacher must be a singer, doctor, dancer, psychologist...
In my family of 4 adults, 3 of them don't like her to be a preschool teacher.
I remember the time she registered for the entrance exam to the teacher training college, the preschool education department made the whole family debate. My grandfather insisted that she study accounting. My father advised her that if she wanted to be a teacher, she should take the elementary or middle school exam because teaching preschool was too hard. My grandmother wanted her to study pharmacy so she could open a pharmacy near home and not have to wake up early to go to school. Only my mother supported her wish.
Many people objected, but she was determined to enroll in preschool education. My grandfather was angry with her for a month because of that. My father just sighed in frustration at her stubbornness. Only my mother encouraged her to pursue her career passion.
My mother told me that any job is noble if you truly love and are passionate about it. But if you force her to study and do a job she doesn't like, sooner or later she will quit or do it just to get by.
Time flies, now she is a kindergarten teacher. Her school is near her house so it is just a few steps to school.
She was skillful, so when my mother gave birth, she helped a lot. When my younger sister went to kindergarten, she went with her to school. She played the guitar well, sang well, and was good at flattering children, so the children loved her very much.
One day, I followed my mother to pick up Na. She taught dancing and told stories so well that all the children were attentive. My aunt was skillful and had many good ideas to apply to childcare, so the children loved her and the parents loved her. For many years, she was an excellent teacher at the city and provincial levels. She was about to become a vice principal even though she was still very young. She had a happy family because she not only took good care of her husband but also raised her children well.
I admire her because preschool teachers have to play many roles, being a singer, doctor, dancer, psychologist... Being a teacher is also quite hard, taking care of the children's every meal and sleep. Even having to worry about giving them medicine when they are sick... Because she loves children, she sees those hardships as nothing.
My father and grandfather also realized that if they had forced her to study accounting or a profession she did not like, it would have been difficult to see her love the profession and achieve the achievements she has today. My mother often said "to build a tall house, you must have a solid foundation" and my aunt is one of those "soul engineers". She helped take care of and raise children from a young age to lay the foundation for their comprehensive development.
November has come, Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 is approaching, many students may look for their primary, secondary, high school, and university teachers, but few people remember their kindergarten teachers to express their gratitude and thank them for their care.
On the upcoming Vietnamese Teachers' Day, I wish all teachers, especially preschool teachers, to always love their profession and children like my teacher.
