Chairman of Kim Thanh District People's Committee Pham Quang Hung had a dialogue with people of Tuan Viet commune.

At the meeting and dialogue, there were over 40 comments and recommendations to the Chairman of Kim Thanh District People's Committee.

Local people have reported that the waste treatment plant in Viet Hong commune (Thanh Ha) has been found to be discharging wastewater into the river twice recently. Regarding the waste treatment plant discharging wastewater into the river, according to local people, the authorities have inspected it but so far the situation has not improved, the water source is still polluted, affecting the lives and activities of the people.

People reported that the inter-district road from National Highway 5 (Pham Xa station) to Quyt ferry has seriously degraded, requesting that it be expanded and upgraded soon.

Some officials and residents have reported that the progress of the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway service road project through Tuan Viet commune is slow. People whose land was acquired for the project have handed over the land for a long time, but the project is still very slow, affecting people's travel and daily life.

People in Phuong Khe and Cam Dong villages have requested to upgrade and expand the road from National Highway 5 to the power station bridge (old Viet Hung commune), and to build a drainage ditch for the district road from the power station bridge to Phu Hai culvert. The crossing at Pham Xa station across National Highway 5 is currently very crowded, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents.

Regarding this issue, Chairman of Kim Thanh District People's Committee Pham Quang Hung said that the District People's Committee has assigned the Department of Economic Infrastructure and the Department of Finance - Planning to coordinate in advising on the medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025. In the immediate future, the district will assign the District Traffic Department to manage, maintain and repair damaged areas.

The people's reflections and recommendations were answered and clarified by the Chairman of the Kim Thanh District People's Committee. For some recommendations and comments beyond the authority, the Chairman of the District People's Committee will report to the superiors for resolution.
