PSG president commits to Mbappe's future

Nasser Al-Khelaifi just had an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, ahead of the Milan - PSG match in the Champions League group stage.

The head of PSG shared about the current situation of the club, as well as mentioned Real Madrid's statement about Kylian Mbappe.

Last weekend, Real Madrid issued an official statement denying any contract negotiations with the France captain, which helped them avoid legal complaints to FIFA.

"To be honest, I didn't see this announcement. We focus on ourselves and our football, not on others," Al-Khelaifi told Gazzetta.

On the possibility of extending Mbappe's contract, who does not want to activate the contract extension clause and intends to leave for free next summer, Al-Khelaifi said: "Kylian continues to achieve great things and maybe people take that for granted.

But no one who has played in two World Cup finals has scored a hat-trick.

I repeat: Kylian is the best player in the world, it's great to see him leading PSG and the French national team.

Kylian has a positive impact on our youth, he helps PSG build its future."

Last summer, after parting ways with Lionel Messi, Neymar, Marco Verratti and several other players, PSG changed their project with 11 new players and coach Luis Enrique.
