The Microlino mini electric car line has just added a Lite version in Europe. According to the plan, the car company will bring this new model to display at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Microlino Lite has been modified from the standard Microlino to comply with vehicle group L6e. In some European countries, the L6e vehicle group can be driven by people without a driving license and aged 14 and over.

This version changes the engine's output to 12 horsepower instead of 17 horsepower as the standard version. In addition, the maximum speed is limited to 45 km/h - the highest speed on a vehicle in the L6e group.

Powering the car is a 5.5 kWh or 11 kWh battery pack depending on the customer's choice. The 5.5 kWh battery pack provides a maximum range of 100 km, while the remaining battery pack achieves a distance of 177 km after each full charge.
On the standard Microlino model, customers also have the option of a 15 kWh battery, providing a maximum range of 228 km on a full charge.

The manufacturer says the Microlino Lite is easily distinguished by the Lite badge on the rear, and the car only has two exterior paint color options: Venice Blue and Berlin Anthracite.
The Microlino Lite retails in Europe from 17,990 euros, equivalent to19,505 USD. The car is expected to be delivered to customers in June this year.
