Procedures for issuing health certificates for drivers; Periodic health examinations for car drivers... are procedures in the 12 categories of administrative procedures abolished by the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health has just issued a Decision to announce new and abolished administrative procedures under the management scope of the Ministry of Health as prescribed in Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT guiding the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023.
The Ministry of Health has just issued a Decision to announce new and abolished administrative procedures under the management scope of the Ministry of Health as prescribed in Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health detailing a number of articles of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023.
Specifically, the list of administrative procedures abolished from January 1, 2024 includes:
1. Issue Health Certificates to crew members working on Vietnamese seagoing vessels who meet the standards specified in Appendix I;
2. Issue Health Certificates to crew members working on Vietnamese seagoing vessels who meet the health standards as prescribed in Appendix I but have one or more diseases or disabilities as prescribed in Appendix II;
3. Periodic health check-ups for crew members working on Vietnamese ships;
4. Issue health certificates to drivers;
5. Periodic health check-ups for car drivers;
6. Issue health certificates to people aged 18 and over;
7. Issue health certificates to people under 18 years old;
8. Issue health certificates to people who have lost civil capacity or have no civil capacity or have limited civil capacity;
9. Regular health check-ups;
10. Announce facilities qualified to conduct driver health examinations under the authority of the Ministry of Health and other ministries and branches;
11. Announce facilities qualified to conduct driver health examinations under the authority of the Department of Health;
12. Recognize quality management standards for medical examination and treatment facilities.
Also in this decision, the Ministry of Health announced 3 new administrative procedures including:
First, initial assessment of compliance with good clinical practice for new techniques, new methods or medical devices;
Second, ad hoc assessment of compliance with good clinical practice for testing new techniques, new methods or medical device testing; ongoing assessment of compliance with good clinical practice for testing new techniques, new methods or medical device testing;
Third, control changes in testing new techniques, new methods or clinical trials of medical devices.
In this decision, the Ministry of Health also abolished previously issued decisions, specifically:
Decision 889/QD-BYT dated March 17, 2015 of the Minister of Health on promulgating new administrative procedures under the management scope of the Ministry of Health;
Decision 4759/QD-BYT dated November 9, 2015 of the Minister of Health on promulgating amended and supplemented administrative procedures under the management scope of the Ministry of Health; 2510/QD-BYT dated April 17, 2016 of the Minister of Health on promulgating newly issued administrative procedures in the field of medical examination and treatment under the management scope of the Ministry of Health;
Decision 5921/QD-BYT dated September 28, 2018 of the Minister of Health on promulgating amended, supplemented/abolished administrative procedures in the field of medical examination and treatment under the management scope of the Ministry of Health;
Decision No. 2900/QD-BYT dated July 6, 2020 of the Minister of Health on promulgating administrative procedures and abolishing a number of administrative procedures in the field of medical examination and treatment prescribed in Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP dated November 12, 2018 under the management scope of the Ministry of Health.
