Chi Lang Bac continues to lead administrative reform in Thanh Mien

According to the announced results, Chi Lang Bac commune continues to lead with 87.76 points, followed by Hong Quang and Thanh Giang communes. Ngo Quyen commune is at the bottom of the rankings. In 2023, a number of units have promoted their sense of responsibility and proactively implemented many solutions to improve their rankings in administrative reform, such as the communes of Ngu Hung (up 9 places), Tu Cuong, Doan Tung (both up 6 places), Tan Trao, Chi Lang Nam (both up 3 places). Lam Son commune and Thanh Mien town have not been closely involved in performing their tasks, leading to a sharp drop in rankings compared to 2022 (Lam Son commune down 13 places, Thanh Mien town down 6 places). Ngo Quyen commune has been at the bottom of the rankings for 2 consecutive years.

In 2023, the heads of communes and towns in the district seriously led and directed administrative reform. Community digital transformation teams operated actively and effectively, contributing to accelerating the digital transformation process. The review, evaluation, and scoring at localities ensured accuracy, objectivity, fairness, and honesty. However, some units were not resolute and close in directing and organizing implementation, so the administrative reform index in 2023 decreased many levels compared to 2022.

In 2024, Thanh Mien district will focus on implementing reforms in 7 main areas: direction and management; institutions; administrative procedures; organizational structure; public service regime; public finance; building and developing e-government and digital government. The district requires communes and towns to implement in the spirit of "5 clear", clearly defining goals and tasks associated with specific activities, products and time.

At the conference, Thanh Mien District People's Committee awarded 17 individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in administrative reform in 2023.
