Tu Ky district strives to complete the handling of unplanned wharfs by August 31 at the latest and mobilize households to voluntarily dismantle violations of irrigation works.
According to the People's Committee of Tu Ky district, by August 23, the district had cleared 3 out of 12 unplanned yards. The remaining 9 yards have stopped gathering materials, removed crane piers and electric cranes. Currently, these yards only have some materials left on the surface of the yard. The yard owners committed that by August 31 at the latest, after consuming all the materials, they will stop operations and dismantle the temporary structures and houses.
Thus, Tu Ky district will complete the handling of unplanned wharfs 4 months earlier than the request of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee.
Regarding the handling of violations of irrigation works, the People's Committee of Tu Ky district has reviewed, counted, classified, and handled violations in the Bac Hung Hai system and inland irrigation after the Law on Irrigation took effect. By August 23, the district had handled 27 out of 43 cases of violations of inland irrigation and 34 out of 74 violations of the Bac Hung Hai system that needed to be handled.
The district has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to voluntarily dismantle works violating the irrigation corridor this August. If households deliberately do not comply, the District People's Committee will develop a plan to clear the violations in September. For the 6 new violations that have arisen since the beginning of 2024, the District People's Committee has handled and resolved them, resolutely not allowing new violations to arise.
