Nguyen Trai Retirement Club cares about the lives of its members

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Dinh Long, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong City Party Committee, quickly informed the retired cadres about some of the results achieved in the field of economic, cultural and social development of the city in 2021; acknowledged the contributions of the efforts and intelligence of the retired cadres. He encouraged the club members to continue to promote the role of the elderly, effectively build the image of "Thanh Dong people speak good words, act beautifully", and at the same time care for members in difficult circumstances, ensuring that no one is left behind. The club needs to actively develop its members and unite to perform well the tasks set out in accordance with the motto "Live happily, live healthily, live usefully".

In 2021, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, many cultural and artistic activities of the Club were suspended. However, the Club still organized Tet gifts for all members; purchased additional equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, TVs, meeting room air conditioners... to serve the meetings and activities of the Club. The Club regularly cares about and looks after the lives of its members, visiting them when they are sick...

In 2022, Nguyen Trai Retirement Club will propagate and mobilize members to strictly implement regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention with the motto "Flexible adaptation, safety in the new normal"; organize for members to exchange and visit scenic spots if the epidemic is well controlled.

Nguyen Trai Retirement Club currently has about 700 members.
