On the morning of April 17, Nguyen Trai Retirement Club in Hai Duong City met to celebrate its 45th anniversary.
Attending the anniversary meeting were a number of leaders of Hai Duong City, wards and communes of the city and nearly 500 club members.
Nguyen Trai Retirement Club was established on April 17, 1980. The club currently has 522 members, most of whom are party members, many of whom have been awarded 35-75 years of Party membership. This is a common home for retired officials, civil servants, soldiers, and workers in the city to gather and socialize.
Currently, the club maintains regular poetry activities on the 14th of every month; cultural activities to celebrate major holidays. The club regularly organizes sports training such as table tennis, badminton, chess, and qigong, with 246 members.
In the coming time, Nguyen Trai Retirement Club will continue to recruit more members, increase the practice of arts, sports, and quality and orderly activities. Encourage members to enthusiastically participate in social work in the residential community.
With many meaningful contributions to society, Nguyen Trai Retirement Club was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President, and many certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee...
