The Government Cipher Committee has issued 253 out of a total of 256 digital signatures to vaccination facilities in Hai Duong to carry out the process of issuing vaccine passports to people.

People who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 need to proactively look up information on the PC-Covid software to proactively update fully, as a basis for being issued a vaccine passport.

On the afternoon of May 11, a representative of the Department of Information and Communications said that the Government Cipher Committee had issued 253 out of a total of 256 digital signatures to vaccination facilities in the province to carry out the process of issuing vaccine passports to people as requested by the Department of Health.

3 vaccination facilities have not been granted digital signatures due to duplicate Gmail email addresses. These facilities will adjust and supplement information and will be granted later.

It is expected that next week, the Department of Health will issue digital signatures to vaccination facilities. During this time, vaccination facilities will continue to have to add additional information to their records as required by the Government Cipher Committee.

Previously, according to the Ministry of Health's instructions, from April 8, facilities will deploy digital signatures to certify Covid-19 vaccination, and it is expected that from April 15, vaccine passports will be issued to people. However, the implementation of issuing vaccine passports in Hai Duong has not been implemented as originally planned.

As of May 10, the whole province had 1,334,086 people aged 18 and over who had received at least 1 dose of vaccine (reaching 99.26%), 1,325,251 people who had received 2 doses (reaching 98.6%), 930,159 people who had received the 3rd and additional doses (reaching 69.21%). For children aged 12 to under 18, the whole province had 156,771 children who had received 1 dose (reaching 99.45%) and 155,666 children who had received 2 doses (reaching 98.75%). The results of the review conducted by the Provincial Center for Disease Control in coordination with relevant agencies and units showed that the whole province still had about 90,270 vaccine doses of people that had not been updated on the national vaccination management platform (http://tiemchungcovid-19.gov.vn). The Center recommends that people look up their personal vaccination information on the PC-Covid software. If it is not displayed, they should go to vaccination facilities to request additional information and verify it. After the information is verified correctly with the National Population Database, they will be eligible to issue a passport.
