From May 29 to June 30, 2023, the Department of Transport Inspectorate and Thanh Ha District Police coordinated with inter-sectoral agencies to organize a peak period of inspection and handling of violations of traffic order and safety in this area. Thereby, it aims to rectify the business of transporting goods by car in the area, especially focusing on inspecting and handling violations of tractor-trailers and trucks with 4 axles or more violating traffic order and safety in Thanh Ha district, handling trucks collecting agricultural products and lychees in the district that stop and park in violation of regulations, causing traffic congestion and traffic safety risks. The inspection aims to rectify violations of traffic order and safety, ensuring safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic during the lychee harvest season.
On the first day of coordination, the authorities handled 4 violations, imposed fines of 21 million VND, detained 1 tractor trailer, and revoked 3 driver's licenses. The main violations were entering roads with signs prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven.
