From the beginning of the year to June 11, all levels of the Veterans Association of Hai Duong province have mobilized and supported the repair and construction of 54 "comradely love" houses for members in difficult circumstances.
Of which, the Provincial Veterans Association supported the repair of 30 houses at the rate of 25 million VND/house. The Ninh Giang District Veterans Association supported the construction of 3 houses and the repair of 7 houses; the Nam Sach District Veterans Association supported the repair of 4 houses; the Kinh Mon Town and Gia Loc District Veterans Associations each supported the construction of 3 houses; and the Tu Ky and Kim Thanh districts each supported the repair of 2 houses.
The total cost of supporting house repair and construction is over 1.9 billion VND contributed by officials and members in the province.
In addition, some units also supported the construction and repair of houses for poor veteran members in the province. Specifically, the Hai Duong Association in Ho Chi Minh City contributed and supported 160 million VND for 2 poor veteran families in Kinh Mon and Thanh Ha; Brigade 602, Navy General Staff supported 80 million VND to support the construction of houses for veterans in Nam Sach district...
