The whole family of 9 people died in the plane crash, the dog still stood waiting

A dog named Pudding in Yeonggwang, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, attracted public attention after being left behind when the entire family of nine people died in a tragic accident.

The tragic Jeju Air plane crash on December 29, 2024, killed Pudding's entire family.

They went on a trip to Thailand together. However, this fun trip ended in tragedy.

The Jeju Air plane crashed into a concrete wall at the end of the runway at Muan International Airport. Mr. Bae, his wife, two daughters, a son-in-law and four young grandchildren were all killed.

Pudding the dog continued to wander around the house, patiently waiting for his owner's family, completely unaware of the tragedy that had occurred.

Several people approached to comfort him, and one man even tried to take the dog home. However, each time, Pudding ran back to his owner's house, where he believed his family would return.

On January 1, 2025, the animal protection organization Care stepped in and brought Pudding to Seoul for care.

"We determined that it was unsafe for Pudding to roam the village without a caretaker.

After contacting Pudding's family, we decided to protect the dog until we could find a suitable caregiver," the organization representative shared.
