Thanks to that, cadres, doctors, and employees not only complete their medical examination and treatment tasks well at the hospital but also volunteer to join medical examination and treatment delegations in remote areas, borders, and islands; perform tasks in Truong Sa island district (Khanh Hoa) and the Northeast island line, combining military and civilian medicine in Quang Ninh province.

In addition, Military Hospital 7 also performs well in line work; conducts periodic health check-ups for officers in agencies and units; and checks the health of new soldiers in units under Military Region 3.

In 2023, the hospital examined nearly 115,000 patients, exceeding the plan by 4.28%; treated nearly 17,000 patients, exceeding 13%; provided emergency care for nearly 4,000 patients, exceeding 23.32%... During the examination and treatment process, the hospital deployed and put into operation many new medical equipment such as: Digital X-ray machine, automatic biochemical testing machine, computed tomography machine, MRI system, PCR machine to measure viral load of hepatitis B, C, HPV, HIV, tuberculosis... to promptly support diagnosis and treatment in clinical departments.

The hospital regularly coordinates training, fostering, and guiding practice for students of academies and schools such as: Military Medical Academy, Hai Duong Medical Technical University, Hai Duong Medical College, Hai Duong Central College of Pharmacy... Regularly sends staff to participate in seminars, scientific conferences, and specialized training courses at hospitals. In 2023, the hospital accepted 1 military-level scientific research project, 10 grassroots-level projects, 2 technical innovation initiatives, and 2 solutions participating in the Hai Duong Province Technical Innovation Contest, winning third prize and consolation prize...

In August 2023, the hospital deployed its mission with a new organizational structure, dissolving Military Medical Branch 7 (Hai Phong) and merging Military Hospital 5 into the hospital. Up to now, the hospital's new organizational structure has stabilized, operating effectively and efficiently.
