Hai Duong Department of Health has just decided to increase the number of beds at the Provincial General Hospital from 900 to 1,050 beds to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.
In 2024, the bed capacity at the Provincial General Hospital exceeded the set plan by 11%. There were a total of nearly 61,000 inpatients, with an average treatment time of 6 days, an increase of nearly 6,000 patients compared to the set target. Through assessment of the conditions of facilities and medical staff, the Provincial General Hospital is qualified to increase by 150 beds.
In 2025, in training and guidance activities, Hai Duong General Hospital plans to transfer 2 techniques, organize 12 training courses and provide 100 remote medical examinations and treatments to lower levels.
