Closing Ceremony of the 2023 National Youth Badminton Championship

The first prize of the whole group belongs to Ho Chi Minh City.

In the men's singles, Tran Quoc Khanh (Bac Giang) won the championship after defeating Tran Trung Tin (Army). This was not a surprising result, because Quoc Khanh is a highly regarded young player.

Meanwhile, in the women's singles event, tennis player Le Ngoc Van (Ho Chi Minh City) defeated Bui Bich Phuong (Hanoi) to win the highest position.

In the doubles event, the pair Huynh Khanh My and Le Ngoc Van (Ho Chi Minh City) excellently surpassed the Bac Giang pair Ha Thi Huong Giang and Pham Quynh Chi to win the women's doubles championship.

The men's doubles event was "dominated" by Hanoi players, when the pair Nguyen Minh Hieu and Vu Hai Dang won the championship, and the runner-up was the pair Pham Van Truong and Vu Trung Kien.

The top position in the men's and women's doubles category belonged to two players Pham Van Truong and Bui Bich Phuong (Hanoi), after surpassing the pair Tran Quoc Khanh and Ha Thi Huong Giang (Bac Giang).

At the end of the tournament, the overall championship belonged to the host city of Ho Chi Minh City, the second place overall belonged to the Hanoi team. The two teams of Bac Giang and Tien Giang ranked third overall.

Awarding prizes to the athletes in the men's and women's doubles

The 2023 National Youth Badminton Championship is jointly organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnam Badminton Federation, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament brings together 132 athletes from 22 provinces, cities, and sectors across the country. The delegations with the most athletes are Hanoi (15 players), Ho Chi Minh City (12 players), Bac Giang and Thanh Hoa (both 9 players).
