After 2 days on the run, Nguyen Thanh Minh, the subject who threw "gasoline bombs" into people's houses to demand money, was arrested while in Ninh Thuan.

On the morning of November 16, Bac Binh District Police (Binh Thuan) confirmed that at around 0:00 on the same day, they had arrested Nguyen Thanh Minh (commonly known as "Teo", born in 1987, residing in Thai Thanh village, Hong Thai commune, Bac Binh district) while he was hiding in Ca Na commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on November 14, due to a conflict over debt collection with Ms. D.TY (residing in An Lac village, Binh An commune), Nguyen Thanh Minh rode a motorbike to her house and threw a petrol bomb into the house.

The petrol bomb set fire to a corner of Ms. Y's house, causing insignificant property damage, but injuring 3 people, including: Mr. VAL (Ms. Y's husband; minor burns, outpatient treatment); Đ.NMQ (Ms. Y's nephew, minor injuries, outpatient treatment) and baby VTA (Ms. Y's biological child, about 4 months old; second-degree burns covering 28% of the face and hands.
