It is expected that in the third quarter of 2024, the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province will approve the investment policy, starting price and initial auction; in the fourth quarter of 2024, the land auction will be conducted.
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, in the fourth quarter of 2024, the province plans to auction 41 land plots, with a total area of 110 hectares. Of these, 8 plots will be auctioned by the Land Fund Development Center. The Department of Finance will auction 12 plots; the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities will auction 21 land plots under their management.
However, up to now, no land has been approved with a specific land price to determine the starting price for the auction.
It is expected that in the third quarter of 2024, the Provincial People's Committee will approve the investment policy and starting price and initial auction; in the fourth quarter of 2024, the land auction will be conducted.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province said that the total area of public land in the area is more than 11,104 hectares. The Department and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are urgently completing compensation and site clearance to have clean land before organizing the auction.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Construction, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to proactively carry out related procedures based on the list of land plots expected to be auctioned, promptly complete all types of construction planning as required, and ensure the progress of organizing the auction of these land plots.
In addition, departments, branches, district-level People's Committees and related units coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to carry out procedures for approving investment policies, selecting investors to implement the project; providing guidance on investment procedures, detailed planning at a scale of 1/500, basic design, construction licensing, environmental licensing, investment project establishment... for auction winners.
