On the occasion of the Month of Action for Children and towards Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, the Women's Union of Nam Sach district organized many meaningful activities for poor children and disadvantaged women.
On the morning of June 14, the Women's Union of Nam Sach district coordinated to organize a "Family Meal" at the home of Mrs. Vuong Thi Van in La Doi village, Hop Tien commune and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nho in Tran Xa village, Nam Hung commune. The two women live alone and are in extremely difficult circumstances.
The women's union members and officials cleaned the house, bought necessary items and cooked a warm meal at the two women's house. The Nam Sach District Women's Union presented Ms. Nguyen Thi Nho with 3 million VND and presented Ms. Vuong Thi Van with many clothes, utensils and money donated by some individuals.
Previously, on June 11, on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children and towards Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, the Women's Union of Nam Sach district awarded 10 English scholarships at Mickey House English Center (Nam Hong commune) worth 120 million VND and 28 gifts worth nearly 10 million VND to orphans in difficult circumstances in the district.
Women's Unions of communes and towns in Nam Sach district also organize to help women in need with working days. Typically, the Women's Unions of Hop Tien and Nam Hung communes and Nam Sach town have many working days to help people harvest rice and grow crops...
