80 pairs of godmothers and children and many officials and members of Hai Duong Women's Union participated in Family Day - Connecting Love with many exciting and meaningful activities.
On the morning of June 25, at the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Women's Union organized the program "Family Day - Connecting Love"; coordinated with the Department of Health to hold a rally in response to "Patriotic Hygiene Day - Improving People's Health". This is an activity to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2024).
Speaking at the program, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union emphasized that the family is the home of each person, the cell of society. The family plays an important role in the formation and development of human personality, and is the place to preserve, maintain and promote the good traditional cultural values of the nation.
As a grandmother and mother in the family, each cadre and member of the provincial women's union is always aware of and has special affection and care for children, especially disadvantaged children. The organization of "Family Festival - Connecting Love" aims to create a useful playground for orphans and children in difficult circumstances, to experience group activities, and to interact with friends and godmothers. From there, foster and spread love and sharing.
In recent years, Hai Duong Women's Union at all levels has had many practical activities to participate in solving hygiene and health care issues; propagating and mobilizing women members to change outdated hygiene habits and practices, and to practice healthy behaviors. The campaign "Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean" has been widely deployed in all levels of the union, contributing to improving and enhancing the quality of the living environment, protecting and taking care of people's health, and preventing epidemics.
After the rally, many cadres and women's union members participated in the parade in response to "Patriotic Hygiene Day - Improving People's Health".
80 typical godmother-child pairs in the province participated in many experiential activities and games to foster and strengthen the emotional bond between mother-child pairs.
