2 women members in difficult circumstances in Long Xuyen commune (Binh Giang, Hai Duong) received support to build "Warm House of Love" houses.
Responding to the Campaign to build "Warm Houses of Love" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, on the morning of September 27, the Women's Union of Hai Duong province and Vietcombank jointly organized the inauguration and handover of 2 "Warm Houses of Love" to the family of Ms. Bui Thi Tham in Ba Thuy village and Ms. Vu Thi Ngoan in Cay village, Long Xuyen commune (Binh Giang).
Ms. Tham's family is poor. The couple has a grandson who is often sick and hospitalized. Her husband does not have a stable job and she is in poor health and cannot work. Ms. Ngoan's husband died early. She herself does not have a stable job and is often sick. She and her children have to live with her brother.
The two houses were built at a total cost of 675 million VND, of which Vietcombank supported 100 million VND (each house was supported 50 million VND).
On the same day, the Women's Union of Hai Duong province, Vietcombank and Long Xuyen Secondary School cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Dream Library project. The project was supported by Vietcombank with 100 million VND with items such as bookshelves, document cabinets, computers, etc.
Vietcombank and Hai Duong Books and Educational Equipment Joint Stock Company also donated over 200 books to the library.
