Chung, day cake contest prizes awarded

In chung cake competition, Ninh Giang District artisans won first prize, followed by those from Kinh Mon District.

Side-prizes Fastest Cake Making, Most Beautiful Cakes, and Most Delicious Cakes went to Hai Duong City, Binh Giang District, and Nam Sach District artisans, respectively.

In day cake competition, Chi Linh Provincial Town artisans ranked first, and Hai Duong City artisans were placed second.

Hai Duong City artisans also made the most delicious day cakes while Chi Linh Provincial Town artisans made the most beautiful day cakes in the shortest time.

On the morning of the same day, the Organizing Board of the Con Son-Kiep Bac Spring Festival offered the chung and day cakes to Con Son Pagoda and the temples of Nguyen Trai, Tran Nguyen Dan, Kiep Bac, Nam Tao, and Bac Dau.

Shortly after the chung and day cake offering ceremony, the sacrifice team of Cong Hoa Ward (Chi Linh) held a sacrifice offering ceremony to begin spring at Nguyen Trai Temple.
