Touching program "Thanh Mien homeland - Day of return"

On the afternoon of May 27, Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong) coordinated to organize the program "Thanh Mien homeland - Day of return", presenting 34 restored photos of martyrs to their families.
Martyr's relatives were moved when receiving the reconstructed photo from Phung Quang Trung's group and friends.Thanh Mien district, in collaboration with Phung Quang Trung and his friends, restored 34 old, faded photos of martyrs in 2 months. The photos of the martyrs were wrapped solemnly in a bright red national flag before being given to their families.Leaders of Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union presented reconstructed photos to the martyrs’ relatives. The photos are gifts from the young people, expressing deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and grandfathers who died for national independence.In the program "Thanh Mien homeland - Day of return", Thanh Mien district also presented 34 gifts to the families of martyrs, each gift worth 1 million VND.During the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, more than 3,700 outstanding children of Thanh Mien homeland heroically sacrificed their lives.Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai, sister-in-law of the two martyrs Tran Hoang Thai and Tran Van Bao, could not hold back her tears when receiving the photos of her two brothers. Ms. Gai shared: "Before my mother passed away, she always hugged the two old photos and called out the names of her two brothers."Relatives were moved to hug the martyr's portrait. The photos help connect memories between the living and the martyr who sacrificed his life.Many young people who are relatives of martyrs came to the program to receive restored photos and could not help but be moved.Although she is nearly 90 years old, has a hunched back and gray hair, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Su (wife of martyr Nguyen Van Nhat) still came directly to the program to receive her husband's photo with love and respect.Each photo is a tragic story about heroes who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation. In the photo: Martyr Hoang Van Bao's younger brother looks closely at the restored photo of his brother.Thanh Mien District Party Secretary presented the symbol to Mr. Phung Quang Trung's group and friends and sponsors.The performance "Thousand Vietnamese Dreams" expresses the dreams and ambitions of the young generation following the previous generation to devote their youth to building the homeland.LINH LINH
