The 4 quarter-final matches at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship have been determined.

The quarter-finals of the 2024 AFC U23 Championship have officially determined the four pairs of matches after the final round of matches in Group D ended.

In the final round of Group D, U23 Uzbekistan easily won 3-0 against U23 Vietnam thanks to goals from Alisher Odilov (double) and Ruslanbek Jiyanov.

This victory helped U23 Uzbekistan win first place in Group D with 9 absolute points - scoring 10 goals and not conceding any.

Uzbekistan U23 will face defending champion Saudi Arabia U23 in the quarterfinals. This will be an opportunity for the Central Asian team to avenge their defeat in the final two years ago.

Meanwhile, the U23 Vietnam team only finished second in the group and will face U23 Iraq (first in group C) in the quarter-finals.

This is the second time the Vietnam U23 team has faced Iraq U23 in the history of the U23 Asian Finals.

Six years ago in Changzhou (China), U23 Vietnam caused a shock when they held U23 Iraq to a 3-3 draw after 120 minutes before winning 5-3 in a lucky penalty shootout.

U23 Qatar and U23 Japan will play the opening match of the quarter-finals at 9:00 p.m. on April 25; followed by the U23 Korea-U23 Indonesia match at 0:30 a.m. on April 26.

U23 Uzbekistan will meet U23 Saudi Arabia at 9:00 p.m. on April 26, while the U23 Iraq-U23 Vietnam match will take place at 0:30 a.m. on April 27.
