Huynh Tran Y Nhi was born in 2002 in Binh Dinh, with a height of 1m75. Before being crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023, Y Nhi was the runner-up in the 2022 Binh Dinh Student Charm contest.

At the end of 2023, Y Nhi announced that she would study abroad in Australia. Recently, she was announced as Vietnam's representative at the upcoming Miss World.
